Pensford Summer Picnic

Fun in the Sun

We had a wonderful evening in the beautiful Pensford Field on Saturday (June 27th). Over 120 people came with their rugs and picnics and enjoyed the sunshine.

James Pegg entertained the children with his delightful stories and the fabulous band ‘The Maisonettes’ had us all dancing and singing along.

Our thanks to everyone for making the evening so successful. The final figure of how much was raised towards the much need repairs to the roof of the studio is yet to be announced.

The band members were

Martin Rands –  guitar, mandolin & vocals

Lucy Rands – vocals,

Freya Waley-Cohen – violin

Charlie Chandler – guitar, lap steel & mandolin

Paul Pritchard – bass guitar

Greg Knowles –  drums

Special guests, Steve Goslin – harmonica & Ray Smith – vocals
