Update 30/08/2017

We were incredibly lucky to have glorious weather for the Kew Horticultural Flower & Produce Show on Kew Green last Saturday, now in its 73rd year.

Congratulations to all those hard working volunteers from the Kew Horticultural Society.

Private Guided Tour of Turners House

    Exclusive to Kew Society Members

    Sunday May 10th 2015

We were delighted that Kew Society members were offered a guided tour of Sandycombe Lodge in St Margaret's. Our thanks must go to the three guides who gave us a very interesting tour of this gem of a building that is hidden away in St Margaret's.

The house was designed c1813 by the great landscape painter JMW Turner for his use as a small country retreat where he lived with his father. The house is in its 'pre-conservation' state and fund raising is under way to conserve this important building as a monument to Turner.

We look forward to coming back when the restoration is complete post 2016.
