Update 30/08/2017

We were incredibly lucky to have glorious weather for the Kew Horticultural Flower & Produce Show on Kew Green last Saturday, now in its 73rd year.

Congratulations to all those hard working volunteers from the Kew Horticultural Society.

Jason Debney from the Thames Landscape Strategy led a group of Kew Society members on a fascinating Thames-side walk from Kew to Richmond on Thursday. Work is in hand to restore the historic landscape from the King's Observatory to the river, and there are plans to run ferries to the Kew side of the river from Brentford and Isleworth. Jason told us about the impact of higher tide levels, and the constant need for volunteers to help the Strategy team in their conservation work.
