Fun at the Kew Horticultural Society Show

Update 30/08/2017

We were incredibly lucky to have glorious weather for the Kew Horticultural Flower & Produce Show on Kew Green last Saturday, now in its 73rd year.

Congratulations to all those hard working volunteers from the Kew Horticultural Society.

Here are a few photos of the day.

Our spring season of events began with a wonderful tour of the Royal Ballet School in April, which has been home to the Royal Ballet juniors since 1956. This beautiful neo-classical building was built as a Royal Hunting lodge by George I and commands  stunning views over Richmond Park. It was briefly the home to the future King George 6th & his new wife Princess Elizabeth. We also visited the  fascinating White Lodge museum which contains many priceless artifacts of the ballet world.
