A comprehensive list of events and information about local organisations and businesses can be found on the KewTW9 web site.

However, we sometimes receive requests to promote events of interest from other organisations. So please find a few here that you may like to follow up.

Gunnersbury Park & Museum Reopening and events in September and October

In anticipation of the reopening of the park and museum and launch of the new “not for profit” community organisation, Gunnersbury CIC, later this year, an exciting season of events and workshops is planned. In response to interest from the community, creative adult learning workshops have been introduced, led by local artists taking inspiration from the beautiful, expansive gardens of Gunnersbury.

Totally Thames 2017

An annual celebration of the Thames taking place throughout September with a wide range of activities available.  See web site for programme and to, where necessary, book places.

Rowing the Atlantic – talk organised by the RNLI Chiswick on 25 Oct @ 19:30 at the George IV

The Chiswick RNLI branch is inviting you to a fascinating talk by James Kyall “Rowing the Atlantic” that will take place on 25 October 2017 at 19:30 at the George IV Pub in Chiswick. For more details about the event please see the flyer attached.

Tickets are £10 online (plus booking fee) and can be purchased following this link.

Limited tickets will be available on the door for £12. All proceeds go to the RNLI.

    The Kew Society committee is calling an EGM to:

    1. approve the changes to the constitution of The Kew Society, creating a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (C.I.O)
    2. to register The Kew Society as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation with the Charity Commission
    3. to transfer the assets of the present unincorporated association to the new Charitable Incorporated Organisation
    4. to close the unincorporated association

    Following the EGM, there will be drinks and a chance to meet other members, Patrons and the committee.
