We are delighted that Lucinda Ganderton has agreed to talk to The Kew Society. She will reveal how Queen Victoria's laundry was washed in Richmond and transported here by a special train. The Royal laundry, designed by Prince Albert, stood in Kew Foot Road and for nearly 80 years dealt with a vast amount of royal washing from bloomers and petticoats to table linen and cleaning cloths.

Bring along your friends & neighbours for this evening. Doors open at 6.45pm.

Tickets are £3 for members and £5 for non members.
