    We are pleased to have the opportunity to show the film commissioned by the Friends of Richmond Park to our Members in the new theatre of the National Archives. Sir David Attenborough narrates the film that was directed by George Chan and produced by the Media Trust.

    To quote Sir David from the film he says "By understanding the rich nature and wildlife of the park, we can all help to protect it and keep it a very special place"

    Max Lankester from The Friends of Richmond Park will be on hand after the film to take Q&A's from the audience - so come prepared!

    Tickets £3 for members & £6 for non-members

    The Kew Society is hosting a Hustings to give our members and the local community a chance to hear the local Kew Ward candidates speak and answer questions.

    If you wish to submit a question, which may stand a greater chance of being taken, please email our secretary Claire Bethel at or via post to 13, Ruskin Avenue, Kew, TW9 4DR, or present them at the reception desk on a card on your arrival at St Luke's.

    The doors will be open from 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

    West London Waste and Recycling team gave an eye-opening presentation to Kew Society members in July 2016.

    We have asked for a follow-up meeting to check what progress has been made or changes are afoot to implement new initiatives.

    This is your opportunity to get direct answers on the basic upkeep and services of the Kew area.

    How does this area fit with national policy? Can we do anything better? What hasn't worked?

    Don't miss this important talk by Emma Hall from The West London Waste Authority who has kindly agreed to come and talk to Kew Society members about the impact of waste on our community. Come along with your ideas and questions.
