    The Kew Society Summer Party is on Saturday July 29th, 6pm

    We are delighted to invite our members and their guests once again to the Priory Park Tennis Club for a chance to socialise with other members and enjoy a little fun we have in store. The Spring party was so successful, we couldn't resist organising another one!

    The Pomegranate Kitchen will be supplying some delicious canapes and there will be a paying bar.

    Tickets are on sale now and cost £15 for members & £17.50 for members guests.

    We are delighted to offer our Members the opportunity to join our guide, who is also a Kew Society Member, on an early Sunday morning tour of the London Wetland Centre in Barnes. We will meet at 9.45 am at the Visitors Centre entrance, ready for a 10am guided tour to learn more about otters, water birds, ducks, dragonflies, water voles and lapwings - mixed in with snippets about planting, wildlife and their habitats. this is a perfect opportunity to explore the beautiful open-air walkways among the lakes and pools of this 105 acre site, perfect for spotting birds and other wildlife residents. Comfortable walking shoes advised.

    Following the tour you are welcome to stay on and enjoy the London Wetland Centre, take a relaxing break in the cafes or indulge in some retail therapy at the gift shop.  The area is fully accessible with ample nearby car parking, wide flat paths and accessible hides and sensory gardens. Only assistance dogs are permitted on site.

    Tickets cost £12.50 for a Kew Society Member ticket, £9.50 for a Kew Society Member concession ticket and £7.50 for children (under 16)

    MASC (Make Air Safe & Clean) brings together on a single committee representatives of various local groups with interests in air pollution in the Borough of Richmond and neighbouring areas.

    The Kew Society is represented by Professor Roger Mason.
